Where did August go? And what happened to my newborn, and my reason for not attending church? My best friend has turned into a highly interactive, very smiley, roly-poly (back to front and front to back) guy. Here he is in his swim gown. He outgrew his swim shirt. That was so 0-3 months.
We have gone to the pool every day this week, trying to wring out every last drop of summer.

Porter is a smiley guy! Glad you are posting again, Alexandra. You are such a good writer and I love the pictures of your wonderful kids.
That smile! I love it. But how on earth do you go to the pool with a tiny baby and two other little guys? Seriously, do you get in the water? I have wanted to go to the pool but I feel like I'd need to sit in the shade with the baby, hold Max in the water, and keep a close eye on Charlie all at the same time. Do you have a helper? Enlighten me!
how fun! He is so cute
2 things, I love Porter's swim gown, and also, I have to confess to not having a favorite tartar sauce. But I think that might be due to the appalling lack of seafood in my diet.
My pool sets up umbrellas along the baby pool area, so I sit on the side in the shade with Porter while Will (turning 3 in Oct) plays in the water. The medium pool is right next to the baby pool in a fenced-in area iwth a lifeguard. The deepest it gets is 2.5 feet, so Andrew just swims around iwth friends. It is best when other moms come iwth me because then I have help if I need it.
He is scrumptious!
I can't believe how big he's getting! I, too, am losing my excuse for church absenteeism. Sigh. It was so relaxing while it lasted.
