I hurt worse when my expectations are off hence the reason for finding comfort in those words. That is probably just me though and I should have found something better to say. :(

We almost lost Moriah last Thursday. We were out boating and she got stung by a Portugese man-o-war jellyfish. She went into anaphylactic shock, stopped breathing. John was giving her CPR and I was on the phone with 911. We met the ambulance on shore, got an IV with Benadryl into her which stopped the swelling and she was able to get small breaths. Anyway, all turned out well. It has been an eye opener for me, in many ways. Experiences like these really put life into perspective.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02935581729648992541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33740831.post-28345053419916102362013-07-10T22:40:03.351-04:002013-07-10T22:40:03.351-04:00I just love your posts Alexandra! I am a very strong believer in traditions for the same reasons.
The one tradition that I am kind of proud of (because it eliminated an annoying problem in our home)is "Cereal Sundays." I started this a few years ago because I was so tired of the kids asking for cereal for every meal and then whining and crying when they didn't get it. Not only do they not ask about it anymore but they get SO excited to have cereal on Sunday mornings!
Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02935581729648992541noreply@blogger.com
